Commission a Painting
The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is delighted to give you the opportunity to commission a botanical painting in memory of a loved one, or to commemorate a special event. The first set of watercolour paintings to be commissioned will be Chilean flora; all paintings will feature in a high-quality book showing the remarkable diversity of plants from the woods and forests of Chile, some of which are now threatened with extinction. The book will be published in 2013-14, the images in the gallery are the type of artworks that will be produced for publication

Commemoration in Print
A high-quality framed print of the commissioned painting will be supplied, along with public acknowledgement of your support by being mentioned in all publications that your commissioned painting may feature in.
Please note that the specimen will be selected on your behalf due to the publication process a personal selection cannot be made.
Online Commemorative Book
You will be invited to create a free entry in our Commemorative Book. This interactive book allows you to upload photos, add your own personal dedication and invite friends and family, from anywhere in the world, to add their own unique message.
